Epoxy Garage Coatings
Your garage should be as beautiful and unique as the inside of your home. Have Acu-Chem, Inc. install a custom epoxy coating that will provide a beautiful and durable surface that is simple to keep clean and prevents staining from oils, paints, etc. Follow these few steps to care for epoxy coatings:
- Sweep, blow or hose off dirt and sand as needed.
- Wet mop when necessary using a string mop and a neutral pH cleaner such as Acu-Chem's Natural Stone Cleaner. Follow the instructions on the label. Flood epoxy coating with cleaner and water; agitate with a push broom; remove residue promptly with mop or wet vac.
NOTES:
Proper care must be taken to not drop heavy or sharp objects. Doing so may cause cracking. Do not drag or push heavy, sharp or sandy objects. Doing so may cause scratches.
Extreme caution should be taken on wet epoxy surfaces (hoses, sprinklers, rain, pool water, etc.). Wet epoxy surfaces can be very slick.
Damage due to improper cleaning methods or exposure to corrosive materials such as battery acid or brake fluid can cause epoxy coatings to discolor.
Epoxied areas that are exposed to direct sunlight may lighten over time.
